Claire likes to keep a modest, classic look about her. Her wardrobe is very 'retro' to any earthlings eyes. Pastel dresses with a small heel is her outfit of choice, but she is more than willing to dress in a pair of high wasted jeans and a blouse. Her features are sharp, eyes a-light with the dreams they hold. Her tanned skin is splattered with countless freckles that she is proud of. One of her most distinguishing features is a small scar riding along the curve of her lower lip. Nothing to big or ugly, Claire likes to consider it a tasteful splash of personality. A reminder to a foolish, carefree childhood. Claire is fond of her looks, but knows they are far from everything. She tries to keep modest and to keep thoughtful.
Personality
Likes: Family, Sappy Romance, Homemaking, Swimming, and Higher Education | Dislikes: Disagreements, Discrimination, Lack of effort from others, Stubbornness, and Violence |
Claire is a very warm, motherly person. She wants everyone she meets to be comfortable around her and makes an effort to do so. This can be a negative as she tries to hard to please every person in her life. Over all, Claire tries to be a positive person, but even she has her down days. She is soft spoken, hesitant to speak her mind on account of wanting to agree with everyone all at the same time. Claire knows in her heart what is good and bad, but she sometimes needs a push to stand up for herself. Because she would like to see the best in everyone, Claire is easy to trust, which can also be a mistake Claire has a hard time learning from. She holds this wonderment in her heart of hearts and cannot keep it back.
History

Claire had an average childhood growing up...As average as anyone could have growing up in a highly advance atomic powered society. Her family was middle-class, settled in a picture perfect neighborhood where the milk was delivered by a robotic man every Sunday. Life was cheery and playful in her younger years. Without a worry in the world she grew and played and of course fell in love.
Nate was the son of her fathers friends. Nate was a few years older than her, but he was sweet and kind and everything to Claire. He seemed to be the definition of who a prince charming should be. It was during high school that he stole her heart, and he would never give it back. It was the war. Nate, silly adventurous Nate signed up to fight and possibly die for his provenance, and die he did. His last letter to her was filled with regret over not marrying her.
Death came in twos, shortly after receiving the news of Nate's demise, her father had passed. Claire was rocked to her core, not sure how she could carry on in a world that seemed far to cruel. However, She picked herself back up off the floor and was determined to help keep her family afloat. It was one thing to feel the way she did, and another to see her loved ones in just as much pain as she was.
A few years later after gluing the pieces back together, Claire got a job as a nanny for hire. Some parents didn't trust the new ages nanny bots on the markets and thought a little more humanity was needed to bring a child up. Claire loved the job, kids seemed to like her as much as she liked them. She was a natural, connecting with each child in a special way, making her job just a little bit easier.
At least...All of this is what she was programmed to think. In reality, Claire Knight is nothing more than a story book character made up by some scientists back on Atomica. All apart of an experiment program to eventually make contact with Earth. The idea was simple enough; create a human like synthetic android run on stable, self sufficient nuclear power and spend it to earth. Through it's eyes the people of Atomica would learn about Earth, the people, places, and things, and if the small little marble is worth any of their time.
So, in the year 2276 Claire was created, the scientics taking care to add every bit of detail possible to her mind, body, and heart. They couldn't stand the possibily of the mission to be a failure. Once everything was checked and triple checked she was sent to earth in a simple, yet efficent space pod. From there it was easy to get things started, to fake the proper documents and memories to help Claire blend seamlessly into society and gather the information needed.

Claire's heels clicked along the sidewalk, the sound was sharp, but gave her the confidence she needed as she as she made it up the drive and rang the doorbell. She was late, and she was never late. The movement behind the crafted glass panels of the front door went her heart into over drive. A woman with dark mousy brown hair opened the door. Her painted lips were tight in an disapproving look that made Claire want to cringe back into herself.
"You're late."
"Yes, and I'm sorry Mrs.Gwen! The monorail broke down and we were all stuck for over a half and hour!" Claire kept her voice light and airy. Mrs.Gwen studied her closely, trying to catch her in a lie that may or may not be real.
"Ms.Knight!!!" Ruth, the little 6 year old Claire looked after rocketed out from behind her mouth and attached herself to her leg. "I thought you were not coming!"
"Why on earth would I do that?" Claire smiled as she pushed some hair away from the girls freckled face. The mother seemed to relax, approving of how Ruth seemed to be so excited.
"Well, alright. Please don't make a habit of it." Mrs.Gwen moved aside. Claire scooped the little girl up and headed inside.
"Ms.Knight, do you like working with our family?" Ruth asked innocently as she wrapped her arms around Claire's neck.
"Of course! I get to spend most days with you." Clair dotted the girls nose with her free hand as she carried her back to the girls large open room and set her down on the soft bed. Ruth bounced lightly, her large doe eyes following her across the room as she opened a window.
"There's nothing else you'd like to do? Travel? Join a circus maybe!? Live in a castle!?" Claire had a sneaking suspicion all of those were young Ruth's wild dreams.
"Nope. I'm perfectly happy here with you, Ruth." She perched herself on the window sill, the long white curtains billowing around her as she glanced up at the warm hue of the sun, today would be a humid one.
