Britt maintains a rather average appearance, with long dark hair and sense of dress that is usually practical above all else. Her hair is often loose, although it sometimes tied up for convenience's sake. A black leather jacket can usually be found on her person, especially if the weather takes a turn for the cooler. And if you ever need to pick her out in a crowd, it's a safe bet that she'll be the one with the camera around her neck.
Personality
Likes: Computers, Photography, Cats | Dislikes: Being told what to do, Not getting paid, Staying in one place for too long |
While she can put on all the appearances of a world-weary cynic, Britt does possess a sense of justice and an earnest pursuit of the truth. A tireless worker, she uses her job to try and put world events into pictures as best she can. She does appear at her happiest when she is on the job, snapping pictures and finding her way into places that aren't too friendly to photographers in order to actually snap said pictures.
Britt rather enjoys spending her life abroad. While she often returns home, it is almost always briefly. She just has never been too comfortable with the idea of settling down in one place. While she can come across as quite brave, in the face of danger (and perhaps even a little reckless) it is actually the notion of being tied down that seems to be her biggest fear. So, she often keeps people at a distance. Her only close relationships are with her mother and Jack Reid, the editor she most often works with.

History
Parents: Nina Casey, Mother; Unknown, Father | Siblings: None |
Others: Jack Reid, Editor at the CBC | Pet: None |
Brittney Reid's life started out innocuously enough. She was born and spent most of her time in present day Montreal. Her mother also led a rather mundane life. Perhaps it was this normalcy that lead Britt to pursue something more exciting. Her love of photography lead her to her career as a photojournalist. This is the job that has seen Britt travel the world and cover a wide variety of events. To the point where she thinks she has seen it all. Being rather nomadic in her life, Britt does not really settle down in one place for very long. She lives to travel and takes a view on the world from the safety of her lens.
Well...it's not always THAT safe. Still, she has learned to roll with the punches and if she can't talk her way out of a problem, she has never been too proud to not run like the devil. Currently, she has arrived in London. Surely there isn't anything TOO troublesome in jolly old England for her to get caught up in. Is there?

Other Characters?: N/A | Anything Else: Britt is pretty good at getting into places she probably shouldn't be. Whether it's through BSing her way in or finding a way to "creatively unlock" a door, she'll find a way inside. |
England was always a nice place to visit. After she got her bags to her hotel, Britt was determined to hit her familiar haunts. A nice pint would do the trick, especially after how long she had spent in that plane. There was work to do be done, of course, but all that could wait until the next day. Photos to take, events to cover. This was hardly a trip taken for pleasure. However it was also one that would involve far less gunfire and running.
At the very least, it was a paycheck. Her travel expenses were covered by the CBC and it would be a nice and easy job that would give her plenty of down time to make the rounds at night and chat up some of the locals. And who knew what kind of trouble she could get into there! Well, given her life and career thusfar, that could really mean any number of things. Britt walked down the street, with all the familiar noise and traffic surrounding her.
But, through that noise, something did manage to catch her ear. A strange sound that she couldn't quite identify came from a nearby alley. It ended just as soon as it had started and when she peared down, she saw nothing out of the ordinary. Just some old police box.
"Huh...that's weird..." she mused aloud, before continuing on her way.
